Travelling to our Handforth clinic from Leicester is straightforward whichever way you prefer to get here. By rail, the most reliable route is a train from Leicester to Manchester Piccadilly, then a short hop on the Styal line to Handforth station — the clinic is just a five-minute walk from the platform, making the total journey around two hours depending on connections. If you are driving, the M1 northbound to the M6, then the M56 towards Wilmslow and off at junction 6 will bring you straight to us, with the journey typically taking around one hour and forty-five minutes outside of peak traffic. Once you arrive, please do not worry about parking — we have free on-site spaces available for all clients. If you are travelling by train, we would recommend downloading your tickets in advance rather than relying on station Wi-Fi, as connectivity can be patchy along that route. The good news is that you only need to make this journey once — your detailed assessment report will be sent electronically directly to your GP and school on your behalf.
